What You Give Up Outside the UKGC
Sites without a UK licence are not covered by UK consumer protections. Concretely, you lose:

Timeout and account closure

Blocking software and bank blocks
Tools such as Gamban and BetBlocker block gambling sites at device level regardless of licence, which is the gap GamStop cannot cover.
