There is an incredible team behind Byra Marketing, and we could not be more proud.
What does “Byrå” mean and the story behind it?
Flashback to January 2021: we had a passion for helping more businesses, but no name, just a vision. With Tom’s Swedish roots and our love for Scandi culture, we landed on “Byrå,” meaning “agency.”
But the name is just the start. Byrå is all about providing honest, quality marketing advice in clear, jargon-free language that any business owner can understand.



In these three and a half years, we’ve earned not one, not two, but three awards, recognising our dedication to going above and beyond for our clients. The latest is “Digital Marketing Agency of the Year 2024 – East Anglia.”

Marketing without boundaries: the Byrå approach
As with most things nowadays, we exist almost entirely online. We’re sure you can see some obvious reasons to have a marketing agency operating remotely since 2021.
Being remote means we’ve built our team around expertise – not location. Each member of the Byrå team is experienced in their own field and driven by a genuine passion for results. They’re not just the best of those who can turn up to the office each day – they’re the best we could find, full stop.
We don’t get you caught up in industry fads; instead, we focus on the one part we know you’re paying for – results.

Our philosophy
The world of marketing is an ever-changing landscape of new technologies, benchmarks, and buzzwords. Honestly? Most of it just overcomplicates things.
That’s why we like to keep it all really simple. We talk to you in your own language, giving you the essential information you need to make informed choices every step of the way. We’re upfront with our progress, our numbers, our costs, and our budgets. We never try to bamboozle you with ridiculous acronyms or upsell you services you simply don’t need.
In short? We just want to make marketing more transparent.

Director & Co-founderCharlotte has 15 years’ experience working in both design and marketing, with an agency, freelance & in-house background. She is a creative with a design-led & strategic mindset. For me Byrå was founded to make marketing more transparent. It’s about being honest with our clients, talking without buzzwords and offering essential information and services they actually need.

Strategising & forming strong client relationships are a key strength, making data driven decisions that align with business goals, objectives and initiatives. Operations & SEOHaving run and owned businesses for over 20 year’s Tomas brings a wealth of experience in business management and operations. He has a great grasp of financial literacy and uses this at Byrå. Tomas helps schedule social media posts, sets up calendars and liaises with clients. Tomas enjoys being part of this fast moving and successful team, and looks forward to its evolution and continued success.Samantha Carter
Marketing Support ExecutiveBacked by years of experience that spans several industries and roles, Sam is well-versed in all things business and communication. Pair this with the fact she is a natural conversationalist who thrives when engaging with others, she acts as the bridge between Byrå and client. Her responsibilities include coordinating our social media management services and ensuring seamless communication with our clients. When she’s not making others smile with her infectious good nature, she’s hard at work keeping the sacred office chocolate stash well-stocked!Jack Bradley
Digital Marketing ExecutiveJack is our go-to guy when it comes to copywriting and content writing projects that aim to put our client's stories into words. With his experience across several different marketing/media roles, Jack's main skill lies in his writing. For Byrå, he takes the lead on our written content tasks. In my free time, you can expect to find me working on my novels, binging TV shows or relaxing with friends and family. I thoroughly enjoy working with Byrå and their wonderful clients as there is never a dull moment.Kayleigh Martin
Graphic DesignerShe’s a mover, shaker and a fairly decent baker. Kayleigh loves being busy, and she credits that to her 10 years’ experience in retail design and marketing! She’s passionate about strategic design, creative derived from considered branding, with the ideal customer in mind! I have a “teamwork is dream work” approach as I am a firm believer in collaborative working, 2 heads are better than one as they say.
